Was this a Cromwell Films production? They always used that same actor to do the "flavor" bits. I grew up watching him as Captain Mercer at Waterloo.

Amazing that we need subtitles for our own language! It has very Germanic undertones and lots of "th". Very poetic. Thanks for sharing.
