yes utube occasionally has their issues, those highly trained monkeys just make a mess on things, for crying out loud, you'd think they'd hire some real help! duh or dah, vateva

Thanks for your comments. I'll have to research the marijuana issue. It was hepatitis C that damaged my liver and that's what I'll be getting treatment for.

Just to clarify my knowledge, I was a Hospice Nurse! Itching is a problem too with liver failure. Not much out there for that, but Ativan does help, so does Zyrtec & other antihistamines. Of course, this is up to you Physician.

Good for you! One positive thing is that the Liver is one organ that can regenerate & we can live well with only a small portion of our liver. Remember, nausea can be controlled with medication & marijuana. Since I don't know 'what' caused your liver damage, MJ may not be an option. But Ativan, in a cream form, placed on your wrists, may help. Interferon sometimes causes nausea. The meds are limited because of the Liver failure though. Don't be miserable! There is help!

Thanks, sorry for the delay. Trouble getting forwarded e-mail from YouTube activity.

My counselor is convinced that mine is stable enough that I can undergo treatment. Thanks for watching. Also, I've been watching your videos - you have some interesting views and questions.
dont do the treatment if you want to live. think co-infection. h, pylori and other bacterium are the real culprits and they are all treatable. research hep c co-infection and you'll find that there is alot of research that backs up my statements. interferon is a deadly drug!!!!!!!!

Thanks, I'll have to check it out. I'm now 30 weeks into 48-week interferon treatment. I know I can survive. I realize the dangers but I'm determined to finish treatment. I developed pneumonia and am taking my third antiobiotic so far to get rid of it.

Bill, yes a rough disease, my sister has it as does my ex husband... sister went thru. part of the treatment (extremely expensive, insurance at that x)however quit treatment early as the insurance was just too costly and she continued drinking so i don't know if the meds would have worked or not. Prayers Are With you my friend. trio*
