Wheel repair

I replaced the bearings on an old wheel and replaced the top. I converted it to a box style, which will be coated with epoxy and have a drain. It will be nice, I can put a pot board on the end :) I was worried I would have difficulty finding the bearings. It turns out they are standard bearings and can be bought at any bearing supplier for 18-25 dollars, depending on where they are made. (China vs USA)

Yes. Bearings on both ends. Be sure to buy sealed bearings. Not difficult at all

hi great video but did you have to take the wheel box off to get to the bearings and are there bearings both ends of the drive shaft?

i am replacing mine not looking forward to it especially as is busy season and could without the trouble
