True "opposer" if religion, like the late Christopher Hitchens, correctly refereed to themselves as Anti-Theists.
I think that most people who call themselves Satanists are only doing so because it sounds cool, and they want to try invoke the emotional baggage that comes with that word.
The other term used for young people who "opose" things ins general is "angsty teenager".

i could ask a lot about this. i always wanted an alternative religion bt i thought satanism is something else, just evil or something, hard to describe on youtube. tho i was always telling ppl that im atheist. i dnt believe tht any god or devil physically exist. i wana learn more

@TheAnonymousLovers: Not at all. You aren't required to help others but if you do it's fine. It is encouraged taht you help people you love and care about and who deserve your respect. Isn't that what most people do anyways. Yes. It is.

@TheAnonymousLovers Not at all. Part of the natural human instinct is to care and nurture those that you love and feel close to. And as for helping random people, that is strictly up to you to decide.

i was raised a Christian but my family never went to church... lately (a year or 2) i've been considering myself as just not having a religion... but not an atheist...
according to ur explanation of satanism i've been somewhat living a satanic lifestyle...
i'v also been looking into buddhism... anyway, my question is: is there a specific thing that is believed after death is Satanism? or is that also just up to the individual?

@TheAnonymousLovers That depends on the specific form of Satanism. Modern Satanism believes in no life after death. Theistic Satanists vary in their opinions, and Traditional Satanists believe that a form of spiritual immortality may be achieved.
