whitebathroomguy Also San Diego park rangers are very cooperative and very nice to work with I have not had any issues. They are doing there job to protect the environment for future use for all.

whitebathroomguy In San Diego city parks you can detect as long as you check with authorities prior to detecting. Each park it depends! Some parks as long as you do not destroy certain vegetation. If you discuss with the Park rangers that you clean up the area along with leaving the area as you found it they are more than willing to let you detect. County parks as well! ALWAYS GET AUTHORIZATION PRIOR TO DETECTING!

all florida parks are off limits.. as for san diego that employee must have his/her walking papers coming soon and didnt care.. if you do this in miami/ft.lauderdale parks you be approached by police.. they keep a log in a computer.. if you are caught a 2nd time at any park you will be arrested.. first time is a warning..2nd is a misd. arrest
