do you know that volunteer fire fighters have their own lives? most were sitting down for dinner so thats where the slow respond time came along with the distance/traffic. second, hague's boat was called before ours. way before. because we wanted trucks first. theres an issue called man power that your forgetting. half of bolton guy's were already on scene at the trucks. then we asked for any bolton members who hadn't responded, to go to the boats. while hague was only asked to bring their boat.

i was there at the fireworks for bolten landing this sucks cuz we had to go all the way up into the mountain to get around...it was a crazy night

after seeing how unbelievably effective the bolton and hauge fire boats were, I would say that having a 454 powered pump would be the trick in saving your own ass if you had to. the amount of water those two boats were able to send to the fire was amazing.

Believe it or not, this is the tail end of it but still long before the boats got there to throw some real water on it. We saw a plume of smoke from a long ways away and rode over while it was still just the porch on the right...
