(I had to re-upload this, as there was a really weird audio error. I'll look into it. For now, here's the version I know is right.)

This is the second part of the eighth stage in WarioWare: Smooth Moves, "The Invent-Off," starring the adorable little genius Penny. Exactly...why are there so many of these brainy girls in children's entertainment named Penny? I can remember the one from Inspector Gadget and the one from ChalkZone, and I get the strong feeling there are a lot more. Is there some pun I don't know about?

Well, the final three forms you should know about if you should play this game are introduced here: The Boxer, the Finger Food, and the Mortar and Pestle. The Microgames here are also considerably tougher in difficulty, both in accomplishing the task and in figuring out what needs to be done. As a result, my Penny scores are also pretty low. That thermometer's Level 3 version gets me every time it speeds up.

What a boring screen between the Microgames. I wish they could've done something more lively than this. All of the other stages certainly look packed with life.

The next stage coming up is probably the one you've all been waiting for: "The Multiplayer Test," starring the Nintendo fans 9-Volt and 18-Volt.

  • is it possable that this game can get so fast no one besides the game developers can beat it?

  • @DoomedDuckBabyMario At times, not even they could beat it, I'd bet.

  • I hate that TV. In fact I pretty much hate ALL of the Mortal and Pestle games. What the frick is a pestle, anyway?

  • @ThreeEyedPea It's "mortar and pestle" actually. A mortar is a thick stone bowl to put the stuff to grind, and a pestle is a short and thick stone stick used for grinding the stuff. A mortar and pestle is most commonly used in cooking and in art.

  • Penny was also a character in her own short on the show "Pee Wee's Playhouse".

From Wikipedia: "A claymation short featuring a blonde girl with pennies for eyes, who described some situations in her life and daily activities, and seems to be modeled somewhat after Penny from [Inspector Gadget]. She would reappear later outside the show on public service commercials."

  • Penny Crygor isn't the only Penny in the world. It's used as a generic name in fiction for a smart little girl.

  • I actually have some good ideas for what some of them could be. I imagined some for the poses in this game, even!
