Gang Starr ft Big L - Work (Remix)

Keith Elam (July 17, 1966 April 19, 2010[1]), better known by his stage name Guru, was an American rapper and member of the hip-hop duo Gang Starr. He was born in the Boston neighborhood of Roxbury,[2]. The name Guru is a backronym that stands for "Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal" and the less often used "God is Universal; he is the Ruler Universal", which are both references to the teachings of the Nation of Gods and Earths.

Death
On February 28, 2010, Guru went into cardiac arrest and, following surgery, fell into a coma.[4][5] He woke from the coma[6] but died on April 19, 2010, after a long battle with cancer.[7

  • Rap is like wine, the older the better

  • @Aspasia96 probably because the new school artists are dick riding satan and the industry and completely destroying the concept of Hip Hop. Hip Hop was used as a way to communicate without instruments and it was exposed to the industry as a way of making money so know its all about bitches and money and cars and there is no messages inspiring the youth, no public enemy, rakim, krs one, 2pac or other artists like that in the mainstream
