  • thank you for realizing the way it reall is.

  • yea like swisher really meant to break his leg. u all think he wasw thinking im going to break his leg?any other team u guys wudnt say anything but it was the yankees

  • @superdupe15

the yankee style is intimidation. they are coached that way.

  • Typical Yankee really?Ive seen plays like that from guys on practically every team....Unlucky is all. Swisher goes 100% everytime its not like he intentionally tried to break his leg.

  • @superdupe15

he tried to cause an injury. they all do it.

  • While I'm sure Swisher had zero intention to injure Nishioka, ANY reasonable person HAS to philosophically agree that it was at least a RECKLESS, if not dirty, play. When a guy slides PERPENDICULAR to the line between bases, and swipes at the fielder's legs, its clear he's crossing the line....

Dirty play? Perhaps not....but it's not a clean play, either. Typical Yankee "gamesmanship."

  • @pacmantab

A beaning incident this past week which cleared both benches proves that part of Yankee "gamemanship" is intimidating the opponent, but if you retaliate, they storm the field. Which I suppose is okay if you can get away with it. I say just play ball and leave the side drama for the barley leagues.

  • that is far from clean....the plate is 6 feet to the right.

  • @TSKIER4

Absolutely right, Skier. And Yesterday Texiera got beaned and whined like a baby, his manager came out and whined like a baby and got in an a shoutilng match with the opposing manager and the benches cleared and came out and whined like a bunch of babies!
