Absolutely right, Skier. And Yesterday Texiera got beaned and whined like a baby, his manager came out and whined like a baby and got in an a shoutilng match with the opposing manager and the benches cleared and came out and whined like a bunch of babies!

Typical Yankee really?Ive seen plays like that from guys on practically every team....Unlucky is all. Swisher goes 100% everytime its not like he intentionally tried to break his leg.

While I'm sure Swisher had zero intention to injure Nishioka, ANY reasonable person HAS to philosophically agree that it was at least a RECKLESS, if not dirty, play. When a guy slides PERPENDICULAR to the line between bases, and swipes at the fielder's legs, its clear he's crossing the line....
Dirty play? Perhaps not....but it's not a clean play, either. Typical Yankee "gamesmanship."

A beaning incident this past week which cleared both benches proves that part of Yankee "gamemanship" is intimidating the opponent, but if you retaliate, they storm the field. Which I suppose is okay if you can get away with it. I say just play ball and leave the side drama for the barley leagues.
