ActionTarget Hostage Steel review by Nutnfancy

One of my favorite steel targets is the Actiontarget.com Hostage Swinger plate. Featuring a mid-sized IPSC torso plate and reactive swinger plate, we have sent 1000s of rounds in fun shooting against it. It costs a bit to get and is heavy but that's about the only downside. Construction and features are shown. It can be used in all kinds of fun and helpful training drills as you've seen here in TNP. The shooting surface of the PT Hostage target is made of through hardened 550 Brinell steel with no exposed bolts, clamps or brackets. If you use care as I indicate in the video, it will last you forever. You will love the immediate feedback that such a target will provide you. And you when you couple it with the Tactical Testicles, you have a choice of three different target sizes on one engagement. I have used the PT Hostage target for pistol, PCC, and shotgun with great success and my latest employment of it is at 100+ yards to do simulated "hostage" saves with a tactical carbine or rifle (shown at the end, night shooting!). It's no wonder the anti gunners think we are a bunch of irresponsible bums when they see all the piles of trash left by people out shooting. How hard is it to pick up what you brought plus a little extra and throw it away properly... I have even seen old cars dragged out to these spots, shot to pieces and left there.

Much props to you, Nutn for all the great work, especially promoting wilderness protection. But don't forget we spread a few pounds of toxic lead around the landscape during a day of outdoor shooting. That's pollution, even if it isn't an eyesore. #6 steel shot and biodegradable clay pigeons is clean enough for me to shoot over my wild blueberry patch.
