  • zyrstn: It's been awhile since I used the 840. I think there is an insp pause button to get the plateau...needed for both calculations.

  • good job..every video helps also, when you mentioned using the volume bag to check for adequate output , when would I do that...im guessing before and after treatment

  • Are you using the bag as a substitute for a respirometer? We usually hook up a wrights respirometer to the exhalation port to measure Vt , etc. Just curious because I have not seen this bag before.

  • so never have the patient blow against the machine after inhalation then breath through nose or slightly opened mouth right?
