This fuckwit actually (unsuccessfully) sued the Drug Enforcement Administration for defaming his character on release of the video to the extent that he could not lecture on gun safety any more...I wonder why....? The fuckwit was talking to kids on gun safety when he shot himself in the leg and then tried to carry on as if nothing had happened moved up a notch to an assualt-rifle. Imagine the damage the fuckwit could've done with that? What a fucking thick arsehole.

Yes you are too right mate. Just broke every rule in the book and could have killed an innocent member of the public. All DEA staff there should have gone to jail for bringing weapons and live ammunition into a briefing like that; it is simple to check a weapon and lock up all the ammo securely, away from the guns. A bunch of amateurs and I am glad that the chump only hurt himself and not a kid or parent....

Since he said that it was unloaded, i'm guessing that it was a case of the good ol' one-round-in-the-chamber syndrome. If the same accident happened with the rifle, it would also only fire one round. If they're observing the don't-point-it-at-anything-tha­t-you're-not-willing-to-shoot rule, no problem. But i noticed that they were failing to follow that rule. Bad bad bad!

I've seen some press reports (take with a grain of salt) that said he missed his foot and the injury he suffered was a powder burn to his thigh. That might explain his good attitude. The court case he filed doesn't say one way or another. We'll probably never know since I doubt he's in a mood to talk.
