Because i rarely use it because i usually go on the laptop. I tried to remove the motherboard and then suffered from a minor ESD and thaat put off from touching the computer. So can you do a tutorial of how to remove a Dell Dimension 5000 motherboard please?

Hi there,
I have a Dell dimension 5000. Its 6 years old and I have never had a problem with it untill a week ago or 2. I tried to turn it on but then I heard no sound or life of the computer. On the power button a yellow light was flashing on my PC. So then i opened it up and took a look at what went wrong with it. I went on to Dell help desk thing and searched the problem. The problem was that the motherboard or the power suplly was failing. So I was completly baffled about what it said.

@rename360 you can but it would be better to touch the removed side panel occasionally, you dont really have to hold it the whole time

The motherboard connects all other components of the computer together. W/O a motherboard the computer would not function.
