@joeemate maybe you have a leopard tortoise???? i never seen a adult one but when i bought my sulcata as a baby there were some leopard tortoises with it. they are almost alike but just darker

hola un saludo te invito a ver mis tortugas en mis videos tu tortuga tendra un comportamiento muy diferente en un ambiente mas natural,y me refiero a la luz solar, tengo un jardin interior y uno exterior cuando estan en el exterior su conducta cambia muchisimo intentalo y veras la diferencia. un abrazo

Hola, he visto sus videos. Niza tortugas buscando! Hago notar una diferencia en el comportamiento cuando se encuentran fuera de las minas en los meses cálidos. Cavan madrigueras profundas, comer mucha hierba y verduras, y son mucho más activos ... Gracias por ver mi video!

qick question, my sulcata is about 5 years old and and he probably roughly around 20-25 lbs, but what i noticed is that he is more of a really dark brown and black color, and most that is see are more pale brown color

I have seen some that are much darker than usual as well as ones that are much lighter than usual. I don't know that it is anything other than normal color variation...

hey this tortoise looks great. pyramiding looks minimal for a domestic. gorgeous reptile!

Thanks! I need to make an updated video of my sulcatas before I have to bring them in for the winter....She's a LOT bigger now, and has virtually no pyramiding.. :D
