@jpb1231000 In reality...the Apostles administered the sacraments, as did their successors, in different forms then what are known today. Most churches have some form of Communion/the Lord's Supper. The Confession of Sin & Assurance of pardon common to many Prot. services comes from the most ancient forms of the mass, where there was corporate confession & absolution.

And...if you don't believe in intercessory prayer, then do not ask anyone to pray for you. Or for the deceased.

Please consider in your prayers that only Christ can forgive sins and you really don"t need a priest or Mary as an intercessor or a sacrament from a man for the Bible tells us for by grace are ye saved not of works!!! As a Catholic, I am ashamed of & want nothing to do with the Vatican hierarchy - for all the evil which they have done & continue to do!
