but I miss the emotion and the pain I hear when Casting Crowns sings it.
You have a beautiful voice, but I don't believe there is a storm in your life that you are singing about. You sing it like it is all beautiful, but the song is about pain, about children with cancer, about inocent deaths, about broken relationships, and I don't hear that in this version...

this song doesn't HAVE to be about pain....that's what's great about music. it's one's own personal perspective on the music and the lyrics. i can see it from both sides. hope and joy when god says through the rain that he's always with us.
