This stallion was bred by Colorworld Ranch, DVM Nancy McEachern. We bought him in summer 2010 and had only 90 days left to get him ready for his approval with the VZAP. He was formerly trained Western style so not easy to change that. But Letter Of Marque was a super learner and eager to please and went to his approval October 22-24 in Luhmuehlen where he got approved by the VZAP with flying colors.

  • I love the color in the TB's. Even though I raise them for the track, it makes a nice change. Not the first time I've seen a paint TB. Too bad Europe & the US won't let you race them. They will in Japan though. I've even seen a Leopard App mare go through the sales in Ocala! Beautiful mare. I really wanted her but she went out of my price range.

  • Wonderful. It's so nice to see color and confirmation in such a great package. That's something we don't often see. Best of luck in future. ;)

  • @AnderssonAnette They do, they have many colors. The 'colorful' ones are much more rare, of course, but they are out there.

  • @bellabelliboo Nope. He is a purebred thoroughbred, look him up on pedigreequery. They come in the standard colors (black, bay, chestnut, gray), cream dilutes (buckskin/palomino/smoky black/perlino/cremello/smoky cream), sabino, frame overo, splash white overo, and dominant white. There is also a handful of roans - TRUE roans.

  • Gorgeous horse!! I didn't know Thoroughbreds came in this color... Surely he is the result of selective breeding with mixes, right?

  • Beautiful horse, but is he really a thoroughbred? I didnt know they had that coulor.

  • He is GORGOUS!! Kinda want him!
