@Untefelehrr Beh, io comprendo quello che tu mi dici parlando in francese, e penso che tu comprenda me, ora che parlo italiano.
Non so se è esattamente l'80%, la cifra è ipotetica, ma penso che non sia tanto lontana dalla realtà!
Comunque penso che oltre all'affinità linguistica, sia molto importante anche la capacità del singolo! :-)

To all the people who say "I so would like to speak french", well just LEARN IT! You all consider it's a very dificult language and stuff but those are just excuses, all languages have their difficulties, english has its ones, do I seem not to be able to write english? No I don't, so MOVE ON americans and build a bridge back to our culture as we did till you ;)

@Anubi1989 Je doute que sans l'avoir jamais étudié tu puisses connaitre 80% du français sans vouloir te vexer. Comme l'italien et le Français sont deux langues romanes proches tu as forcement des facilités bien sur mais pas si fortes, sinon toutes les langues romanes pourraient communiquer très facilement entre elles, ce qui n'est pas le cas. L"intercompréhension des langues romanes" est une discipline qui s'apprend et qui a terme ne permet même pas une compréhension totale.

When I was "immersing" myself in French, My ENTIRE house was labled with sticky notes/lables. Nothing was spared, not even my mother or my cat! I think immersing is the only way to learn a language, you have to live in an only French speaking nation to truly learn it. I did France for 6 months! Such a wonderful country...
