Selena rolled her eyes dramatically. "I'll let you stay, but you have to do whatever I say." She said with ecstasy. "From now on, I'll be your new boss. Well, your boss inside my house."


Demi giggled, her lips curving up into her signature smile. "Fine, let me just get my stuff from my house..." Demi digged her hand into both her front jeans pockets, then her back pockets. "That's odd, I thought I put them here..." She then checked her purse, but the result was the same. Nothing. "Oh no. I think I lost my house keys. Where could I have place them?!"


"Calm down, you probably left them at your office, maybe?" Selena said, trying to help Demi.


"No!" She yelled. "I just remembered I handed them to my mother before I went to work." Demi sighed. "How could I have been so dumb?"


"You're not dumb! Just relax and tell me why you gave your mom the keys. After you tell me, you can call your mom. Okay?" Selena suggested.


Demi nodded. "She told me she had to get something from my house, so I gave her the keys. I guess I just forgot to get them back. But no worries, I'll just call her. Right?" She said before pulling out her cell-phone and dialing her mom.


After a few rings, her mother picked up. "Demi, didn't I tell you I had to go? I can't talk right now."


"Ok, ok. It'll be quick., I just want to know where my keys are?" Demi said, wiping the sweat off of her forehead with the back of her hand. She was irritated, but she didn't show it. She was never the girl who showed her feelings to the world.


"They're with me, safe. Now goodbye!" Her mom hissed before hanging up.


Demi smiled, her perfectly-straight teeth being displayed. "I guess I have to stay with you! Yay!"
