My Snake Rack System

Due to several requests I went into a little more depth on my snake rack system. Built from 3 sheets of melamine it can house 8 adult corn-snakes or baby boas.

Heat tape or Heat rope are the best options

Becareful with those heaters,they throw out a dry heat that can be bad news to an animal that needs humidity! Cool setup though

but is there really anything that throws out wet heat?

I spray often and keep the enclosures humid when needed. Have not had a bad shed in the snake room since 2008

Hello. I'm very intrsted in these tubes.

My question is

How do you get a hot spot in these tubs??

do heat mats/pads not have ONE temp

but snakes need a cool side and a hot spot

I'd really love your help here its the one thing keeping me back from making tubs

Do you keep your heater on ALL the time 24/7? I was wanting to do this, but I'm kind of worried that it would be some type of fire hazard or something? Thanks.

man, i need to build a rack. right now i have 18 tubs just stacked on top of each other. haha. sucks when i need to put a male with a girl all the way at the bottom of the stack. lol
