Silly man, its your job to walk in the road if you cant park legally, if you dont like that then quit as its clearly part of the job. What definately isnt part of thejob is endangering pedestrians.

This is an MoD facility and they are authorised to be there. You should be lucky they didn't call in air support. Or maybe they did but it went through William Hague's office and hasn't been processed yet.

If the road is coned off why isn't the lorry back on the road? where it should have been to start with!
i would like too know why you are above the law?the highway code quite clearly states that you should be on the roadway or cycle track.thanks for filming. however you are also right about the pavement being blocked, one thing you should know....its a private road just about where you are and can you remember the area before? no cycle track before the M.O.D. arrived ! constructive comments no harm intended

@WALKINGANDYONE No offense taken :-) You'll gather this was rather tounge-in-cheek, yes I was on the cycle track and rode over onto the pavement just to wind them up, as he pointed out ;-) I can assure you I'm otherwise completely law abiding. The road was private, I understand that it has now been adopted by South Glos. Yes, we should be thankful I suppose that the MoD gave up land to build the perimeter cycle path, it's not wide enough though, too many blind / 90o bends etc. etc.

Converation:
Me "How are pedestrians supposed to get by with you parked on the pavement then?"
Him: "..You should be over there by the cycle track"
Me: "What about pedestrians then?"
Him: "The roads coned off, how are we supposed to get the stuff on? (He means how are they supposed to load the truck presumably).
Me: "So what about pedestrians?"
Him: They can walk in the road. We've got to walk in the road"
