He is saying that he has low regard for his "utilitatian" music, like the Concerto for Orch. I think it is a case of "the lady doth protest too much". He thinks more highly of it, and there is more of the "real" him in it than he admits, but he is playing it "safe", following the Conventional Wisdom on this, letting the "sleeping dogs"...etc.

Bardzo dobre, sprytne pytania- to był człowiek, który swoją szarmancją pożarłby chyba każdego dyletanta, a on tu mówi rzeczy ogromnie ciekawe, i też wierzyłem, że nie lubił Koncertu.

Speak English, faggot.

why do you disagree? I think he meant that some works are impossible to play in one instrument. You cannot write a transcription of vg Ligeti's piano concerto.

I wish I know what he was saying :S

that's a lot to translate, but all in all, he started thinking of writing music very early, as a little kid. then about the kinds of music he wrote - for different purposes - for schools, for himself.. then that he doesn't use computer, and sometimes uses piano, but it ain't a crucial instrument, as you can't play everything on piano (i respectfully disagree). about influence - szymanowski at first, chopin was very important - he feels chopin's emotional flow. stuff like that :)
