Follow Me On Twitter! http://twitter.com/#!/Braaap2strokes Here is a video on how to fix or repair a Honda Trail CT 90 carburetor. This movie will go step by step. Some of the things that will be covered are taking apart the carburetor, cleaning of the float bowl, clearing the junk from the jets, and putting the carburetor back together. It will also have an explanation of what the requirements are in-order-to make your carburetor run at its top performance. The tools that are required to complete this tutorial are a regular medium screwdriver, a philips medium screwdriver, small wire brushes, a welding tip cleaner (small enough to fit into the jets), and a little regular screwdriver. Please make sure to check out my channel, in the future, for more links and movies on repairing dirt bikes. The music used in this video is from the editing program called Coral Digital Studio.

  • The best way I've found to clean a carburetor is to buy a gallon of Gunk carb cleaner, take the carb apart, put all the metal pieces in the Gunk carb cleaner and let it sit for a week or so. They usually come out completely spotless. Use the air compressor to finish it off. I did a CT 70 carb yesterday, although I just used Gumout aerosol cleaner. Bike runs almost perfect, just needs a few more minor adjustments.

  • Please do a video on how to dial it in. From a starting point. For example turn screw on right side out 3 turns from loosely sung. Turn air fuel screw 2 times out yadda yada .

  • Great video but I always blow out all passages and jets with aerosol carb cleaner and compressed air to ensure that the carb is perfectly clean.
