Dr. Takashi Harada with NEC gives tips on design solution for PCB above GHz. He was the guest speaker at the EMC Seminar that was held on November 15, 2010 held at Elliott Laboratories in Newark, California.
"Latest EMC Design Solution for PCB above GHz"
EMC design above GHz is more complex and difficult because resonance occurs when the wavelength is equal to the size of PCB or chassis and also the affect of stray capacitance and parasitic inductance increases. This lecture provides key EMC design tips for PCB above GHz and also EBG (Electromagnetic Band Gap) structures to reduce noise coupling in PCB.
