Lost by RED

RED performing Lost at Lifest 2007 in Oshkosh, WI.

I know he starts off saying it's a love song for God, but I perceive music my own way and appreciate the fact they don't mention his name in their music itself. It's not my fault the artists of a lot of great rock songs are Christians. I don't mind it, I'm in it for the music and how I take it.

@ASeventhSign Of course I can read and comprehend lyrics. I'm also fully able to interpret them however I please. I choose to interpret them as having nothing to do with religion and relate them to my own logical life instead. They're not the only ones I do it with. Certain songs are written about a specific girl for instance but if it relates to someone in my life I interpret it that way as well.

How can you listen to the music without hearing what it's saying? That's just sounds a bit redundant on your part IzcoN. It isn't an entirely dense statement. Because the Bible hasn't merely been 'handed down', it's been twisted and doctored to suit the requirements of whoever had power over it's distribution, all throughout history. But to say that it's ALL wrong would me a mis-statement, as well.

And please, don't act condescending when arguing with someone online. It's incredible annoying, even for someone who'se reading.

I didn't question your ability to interpret lyrics, but rather your comprehension. Many, if not most of Red's lyrics are directly religious. If your interpretation contradicts fact, then by definition, your ass is wrong! :D

You're welcome to your beliefs, but don't push them on us by making false statements. That is unless you enjoy playing the part of the fool.
