@TheSleepermgm I totally agree with what you said. I have noticed on the dyno graphs that the NPI cylidner head does make more torque. Maybe its because how Ford designed it to be like the old 5.0 that it has similiar traits. I was half-tempted to switch them out, but then I remembered about all the research I've done on MHS special NPI cams. I'm going to do that this year, and hopefully run at the track!

@JerZeyFiveOh Yes...and the npi heads will kill pi heads when it comes down to the torque...torque is what wins the race..hp is nothing at all with out torque..lol..you can have a 500rwhp/200ftlbstrq car and i can beat it with a 200rwhp/500fllbstrq car in the 1/4 mile all day long because the torque brings your car up to speed faster..on a 2 mile run the other car might win but i run 1/4 mile....lol..mhs make the best NPI cams on the planet and i would bet my left arm on it....lol

@98gtvertmason every number unless specified is crank hp....you lose about 20% threw the drive train to the wheels..forexmple my little ol v6 is rated 190hp/235tq its oly good for about 165-170/210 but hp is nothing tq is what i want

somethings not right... 98 gts come stock with 225 hp and like 260 tq. confused as heck

@jmstang66 dont do a pi swap,,go npi and show them how its done,,with your full ehaust an all the bolt ons i have with a pi intake manifod and stage 1 mhs cams you will be just like a pi with bolt ons,,the npi heads are fine you just have chainge the intake and cams,,the compresion bump is only werth 10hp after you swap out the cams and manifold,,in my grand marquis i would put down 250rwhp and my drive trai kills 25% so i know you would put down more in your mustang,,sale the pi heads! save $

Very impressive for a npi stang. I know when you get the pi swap you will love/and notice a huge difference.rode with my buddy in his and it pulls hard as he'll and it's auto.

294.. Nice tq man. My 01 GT made 268whp and 310 tq so with a PI swap you would have a beast of a GT. too bad a rod was thrown. :(
