it's a piece of crap! with his dc charger couldn't break the 3 leds barier (75%) so i used a camera dc charger 5v/1A for full charge (100%) of the solar charger. in solar charging mode again it couldn't pass the 75% barrier. used it on nokias with no result "not charging" used it on camileo hd camera, not charging, i will give it one more try on a samsung 5500 galaxy. if not then the hammer else garbage! :))

@karlzipsI bought the same thing and had the same problem. Did you ever get this piece of junk working? If so how?

@Kremerneon I have the same problem with the false battery too. what voltage li-po did you put in there to fix it?

what is the capacity of solar panel used

Mine did the same thing. I opened it up and it had a 780mAH li-po in it, not 2600, not even close. I measured it and any decent load would sag the battery voltage quickly and trip the protection circuit.
I just finished cutting the lipo out and strapping a 2400mah 18650 to the back, so far it acts as I thought it should have from the beginning, it has charged my blackberry and wife's phone with a little capacity remaining.
