  • hey very cool man

  • atomi- be aware that the introductory fossil videos are more informative (about 15 of them ) , the field tip ones are fun to see the hunters

  • Fossil collecting at Parks is prohibited .There are many , many other locations to find this same rock layer with big sea shells .Its common , and legal at most hill cuts ( but not highways )

  • Sure - there is a fossil hunt with the Dry Dredgers this Saturday about 11 am .Not sure where but I can find out if your in the area .

  • I'll have to wait until next time - I'm going to be in DC this weekend.

When's the next time you'll be going out?

  • The Dry Dredgers fossil hunt usualy the 4th Saturday of every month .You could meet me and my kids to hunt at other times .

  • really nice fossils

  • thats a orthracone right?

  • Wow, I'd shure like to live there; fossils and lizards as far as the eye can see, lol.

  • Hmmm - well I live in Columbus.... so I think driving distance is about the same.

  • Either way works. =) I'll definately let you know when I'm coming down.

  • Healthy if you live further north you can try Fossil Park in Sylvania Ohio. It's near Toledo and open weekends May - Oct if I recall
