This is a short vid of my 130" 2.35:1 screen w/ Mitsubishi HC5500 1080p projector. Just showing the built in anamorphic lens emulation for a few non believers ;) The point of the vid is to show how the projector uses the zoom method on a 2.35:1 screen and has no light spill unlike all other projector manufacturers. It also has a built in "shrink" method for 16x9 content that works in an instant so you don't have to wear down the zoom on your projector(which all other projectors are forced to do).

  • whats ur screen panel size?

  • looks superb!!

  • I meant on this particular video of optimus - when he switches to 2.35:1 it just zooms in so some of optimus' upper parts and lower parts are not visible.

  • Do you mean the top and bottom or left and right? If you mean top and bottom then your movie is 16:9, not 2.35:1. Some are. Dark Knight for example is mostly 2.35:1 but some scenes are shot in imax meaning they are 16:9 (or close to it). Run Ghostbusters and see if it still happens.

  • But have you noticed that when you zoom to 2.35:1 you actualy lose the egdes of the picture.
