I've said it a billion times... but Misty is the one. Not only has she said "I LOVE YOU" To him with her own mouth (In a soundtrack... does that count?) but when ever Ash received a kiss from a girl it's always while Misty is there to make a fuss. They never did any of that with May or Dawn (Or Iris now)
And there have been episodes where Ash gets jealous of the guys who like Misty.
