His version eventually sold a million copies, too. During a performance once, he called Pat up on the stage and showed him a newly-purchased gold ring. "See this ring?" he asked. "You bought it!"

@kapowshow09 i love the 50's more than anything. and i love october sky as well. it has a large number of great 50's hits in it so i wouldnt be suprised if this song was in it as well!

Was this song in the movie October Sky?? I only searched this because I saw the Comcast commercial. But October Sky is one of my favorite movies and this sounds really familiar with it.. :)
