Haven't seen you in a while. (My fault) A LOT better than the last I heard you sing! Awesome job, Shane.

@jwipe i'm glad you enjoyed it, the high note i sang was the same note i sang on the phone but i did cut out the falsetto at the end... i didn't even think about bringing that one note down an octive (idk why haha). thanks for the comments!

@robertantonvlogs haha thanks, i guess i just didn't build it well enough

Really enjoyed this Shane - maybe your best ever. You had a great build to the song - some real emotion going on. I felt the build drop about 3/4 through, but then it picked back up again. Falsetto note really didn't work for me - wondering why you tried to go a whole octave higher than the note is normally. You could have done the note an octave lower still in head voice and would have been great. Missed the falsetto at the end you had on the phone, but your runs and change-ups were great
I really liked this one. It was very smooth, and this song worked really well with your voice. The emotion was really great, because I could totally see you were feeling the lyrics. Not just singing them. Now, I do have to say that the high note at the end sounded a billion times better on the radio show. That was one little mistake in the song, but overall I think you did a great job!

Well i thought this was pretty good ....... I thought that you were brave at atempting to hit that that note at the end but it sounded a little flat .... maybe if you would`ve held tht note for a little while longer it would`ve been better but pretty good otherwise... Xoxo,Louisa

Shane,
I liked the tone of your voice and all the runs you put in the song. I could feel the slow build up to the last high note, and I was very excited. But the execution of the high note was a bit off. I think the note you hit, while in key, was probably an octave or a fifth higher than where it needed to be. That said - if you would have went with what you were feeling it would have played well, but you cut it off early. Still a very good entry. Good Job.

@daddy1taylor thanks Randy, yeah i have to agree about that high note looking back at it now. i just felt like this song needs some sort of element of risk and if i had sang the note lower i wouldn't have been taking enough risk. but i guess it really comes down to how the note fit into the song as a whole. thanks for your comments!
