  • an SD40-2 can pull 62 loaded cars. we have two gp38-2s that run out local, ive seen them pull in 160 cars. an engine can pull more than you think, but railroads almost always overpower there trains

  • You'd be surprised what 3,000 horsepower can pull. Besides it certainly sounds like he's in the 8th notch on the throttle.
