It's not a copy, John says it's his version of Maggot Brain and, in fact, he had the track shown to George Clinton himself before the record was released. If anything, it's a nice homage and great rendition.

Remind me of some Pink Floyd stuff...I´m so surprised John´s solo projects are that much different and artistic. Good he wasn´t affraid to say goodbye Chili Peppers (who I like also anyway).
