JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Watching David Rogers and Jacob Wulff hit the gridiron on the big screen makes it hard to believe this is the first time they've met beyond a computer screen.

"We met on the Jacksonville Jaguars message board," said Rogers.

They both share a deep devotion to the Jaguars. "The Jaguars to me mean brotherhood. Brotherhood that is not only between the coaches and the players, but between the fans you meet," said Rogers.

The team means so much to David and Jacob that they've started their own campaign to sell tickets.

"It's not just about the wins and loses. It's about the moments and the memories. You are not buying a ticket for a day, you are buying a ticket of memories that will last a lifetime," said Rogers.

"I just want them to see that there are real fans in this town. And we share something very special. When we are at the stadium or out and about. We have love for the team and love for teal and black," said Wulff.

And Friday they took their message to the street. Ten thousand tickets still need to be sold before 1:00 PM Thursday to keep the Jags first home game from being blacked out. And they hope it happens.

  • we need to start that up again it didnt work. get more people

  • no offense but what does Jacksonville Fla even have a NFL team when Atlanta, Tampa and Miami are 3 hour or less driving?

The former Gator Bowl/Attlell Stadium or w/e is too big. If the team stays in North Fla. (if LA can get a new stadium I am sure Mr. Goddell and the owners will put a team there in a second)the Jags home should be reduced to maybe 50,000 seats max.

I know the Jags sold out all their home games for the first 5-6 years but the buzz is over. If things dont improve move.
