in 1:56 he starts to play something funky
someone know what he plays there??

So its a 2 channel pedal? I see 2 drives? Or do you just blend the drives together? LIke the sound..very vintage!

Totally Agree! You get what you pay for. Brian is making pedals far superior than even the $200 mass produced botique pedals. Why hasn't Tone King heard of Wampler?

\m/ it's aces on the mad dog, keep up the good work \m/

wow...this sounds awesome.. sooo smooth. nice job guys. Johnny is a great player, only fitting a pedal with his name on it sounds as it does.

What pedal(s) have the Hardcore Rock sound?? not Metal sound.

I'd like to a hear some effects demos where the guitarist plays something other than some open chords and some pentatonic diddies
-
the tones on your videos are some of the best ive heard anywhere
I love Johnny's playing and this pedal seems to have been built to his specs. Brian has quite a range of ODs and Distortions to choose from -- some for much less doe. Check out the site and give 'em all a good listen. My favs are the Ecstasy and Cranked AC.
Brian, any chance that you can play your demos along with backing tracks so that we can see how they sound in a mix?

sure - I've done that in the past and I always get people asking for soundclips of the pedal only - If it's helpful though I'd be glad to combine both. :)
Thanks,
Brian

wampcat, keep making pedals like you do, and let the haters hate. if any of them could play half as good as they can gripe, they should order this pedal. awesome tone, good versatility, good distortion. on the video, what kind of guitar is used? sounds like a gibson or prs w/ humbuckers in it...

thanks - it's a agile les paul copy - I really like the guitar for general use - it's my main gig guitar now, plus it's only like $200 or something, so I don't get all freaked out when somebody stumbles on stage and knocks it over. ;)
pickups are stock - gibson copies it looks like but I haven't taken it apart.

Sorry, I had to change to moderated comments. There are always a percentage of people who are just plain haters. I removed a few comments that basically accused me of cloning some other circuits. Sorry, not a clone. It's a dual feedback clipper into a baxandall into a jfet. Another said I can't drill right. Actually, Johnny is nearly blind. the volume is higher so he can see it easier.

Not a very "thick" sounding pedal considering the BASS knob is all the way up and TREBLE and PRESENCE are less than 50% (beginning of the video)... not quite a "winner" you got there IMHO.

you have to keep in mind that this is *johnnys* perfect pedal, this is the way he wants it and likes it. The eq is very versatile though - turned down the presence and the bass comes up. It's more of a presence filter.
