Excerpts from "The Ornaments of Lhasa: Islam in Tibet" from Fons Vitae Publishing.
Footage and photographs taken of the Muslims in Lhasa in 1997 are richly complemented by a delightful interview with a Tibetan Muslim who describes the history and life of
Islam in Tibet, the two Muslim communities living there today and the relationship between the Buddhists and the Muslims.
Wow! I am a Buddhist Tibetan living in North America. However, meeting and seeing a Muslim Tibetan abroad automatically brought a close feeling of kinship. I guess we not only respect you but also think of you as our brothers and partners in trying to save our culture and traditions. You look great! Keep up the good work young man!

Tibetan muslims are tibetan. They are our brothers and sisters. Chinese muslims are chinese and they don't belong in tibet. All chinese should go back to china and leave tibet to tibetans.

Yeah very interesting. I am Tibetan Buddhism. But everyone has their own human rights. Therefore of course they have to take care of their own culture. Whatever religion we don't care, but we are same blooded brother and sister. Therefore there is no difference. Heads off. Keep it up.
