  • in what means, would it be necessary to perform this surgery?

  • @cowboys430isback Unstable arch with or without a bunion deformity. This is a well known and trusted procedure. It is not the easiest procedure to do, but if done well it yields consistent results.

  • @padeheer and what happened if after this procedure the astragalus continues moving to a hiperpronatorius position?

  • @aortinis

You would need to do something to control the rearfoot (making it perpendicular to the ground or slightly everted) and removing any deforming force of the leg onto the foot. Best wishes.

  • I have to say that at the beginning I thought it was a simulation, I mean, that maybe the surgery was performed by medicine students in some kind of a doomie because the foot looks pretty weird but then I read that the surgery was performed in a kid. I wonder if a foot can look exactly the same before the bunion after the surgery, There is more information on foot problems available for physicians at Symposier site.
