Three years of fighting in Darfur have destroyed hundreds of villages, displaced 2.2 million and led to more than 400,000 deaths. President Bush has accused the government of Sudan of genocide, but the U.S. has taken few concrete actions to stop the fighting. Narrated by Sam Waterston, this documentary tells the story of those who have lost their loved ones to this war, those who are fighting to survive and those who are working to bring peace to the region.

It is up to us to tell US policy makers that they can not stand idly by while genocide unfolds. Together we can be a powerful voice for lifesaving action.

  • The two people that disliked this video are what's wrong with this world.

  • @roflcopterness1 No worries! Hopefully the film was meaningful to you and has stirred viewers to take some form of action to stop conflict in Sudan.

  • Double-standards at work by the wealthy in our globalized community!

The only "black" they want is the stuff pumped from the ground. To them, human life is inconsequential.

Sure, they say all the right words. But in the end, NO action is taken against those murderous, racist criminals in Khartoum and their Janjiweed thugs.

    Thanks for posting.

  • @roflcopterness1 No. I disagree.

Some people interpret that a dislike means they dislike the content being shown.

Do you like what is happening in Darfur?

  • Janjaweed, Taliban, Al Quaida...it's all the same. Muslims. Unfortunately, my own people are only interested in Super Bowls and X-Boxes. They call themselves democrats and citizens of the world, yet whine like babies if they're asked to go somewhere to help someone.

  • @MrPopop100 Well it IS the Muslims you dumbshit!

  • If the white man say he's going to a country to help as far as humanitarian needs. He's really going over to secure the natural resources in the aftermath

  • If the white man say it was 400,000 blacks that died, its safe to say over 4,000,000 was killed. if the white man say over 2,000,000 people were displaced that mean 20,000,000 is a safe number to play with etc etc

  • Remember Bosnia US got in there fast , if your non-white well I think that its rather obvious !

    Yet again.

Look at how The Western Hemisphere so called New World and how it came to be, as if no one was there !

European nations are racist its how they got everything they have, and why their morality is laughable and its Christianity a tool of abomination...

    gods peoples my ass

  • this is crazy this is happening and hardly anyone in the world is doing anything. i feel like we as humans all need to stand up and find a way to stop it even if it means us americans make enough noise her in the us to get or gov. involved.

  • this is anti islam blame it on the muslims......... as usaual

  • why are these people being punish they are not doing anything to hurt the black arabs. They are peaceful people just trying to live. But Bashir just wants to kill em all. That sick fuck. He is going to get his.
