People tend to forget how great he really was before all the injuries. I'm really happy for him, that he is now finally healthy. At 38 he was still one of the premier perimeter defenders in the league last season. Never gave up after all the setbacks. A true testament to his greatness. Hopefully he will still play after the lockout.

@Shermstyle23 i said"he is there with mj,when it cames to his basketball abilities",i did not say he is even with mj;-).no,u r right.i considered KB to be as good/effiecent on the field as MJ.Isn`t true.I just checked the stats as u said.its quite obvious,that MJ was in a league of his own;-).Anyway.Both one of the greatest ever to play the game.But MJ stands alone.grant isn`t even close to be considered to be so.maybe GH would have became a great HOF-player without injuries..

@tamok12 Grant Hill wasnt a great shooter but he attacked the basket much better than Kobe. Main reason he got hurt is that he was always where the contact was(very unfortunate as Hill would have been one of the all-time greats).

@doule76 I agreed with u all the way up until u said Kb was up there with MJ. Mj was way more efficient in scoring, a better defender & mostly rose to the occasion in the clutch. If u even try to say Kb is just as efficient at scoring, look at their season stats & then career stats & then playoff stats & Mjs were always higher in fg% & lower in fga. Clutch: Lakers swept even tho they had the highest payroll & Kb was 17pts & 5TOs in elmination game(Kb was 32). MJ at 32 came back for 2nd repeat

@jan279 kobe is by far the better all around player. it took grant hill years in the nba,to develope a decent jumper.never had 3s in his repertoire.the lefty lay up was also never that good.but:he was maybe the most explosive guard in attacing the rim.his drives"through"the paint were epic motions!and he always had court vision,no doubt.but,kobe has it all.he is there with mj,when it cames to his basketball abilities.hill was never even close to mj,even in his 97`saison,which i consider his best
