Well the story so far, the one with the bucket as been in the family for nearly 30 years, I personnally mounted the Kubota to it, Dad cheated with the other and bought it as you see it, yes it should be Ferguson Grey/Gold, but I think Dad has a liking for the "MF" Red/Grey, The one I look after now, the bucket one, had cream wheels before Dad had it blasted and sprayed, it has two wheel weights on each rear wheel, We don't think it left Coventry Gery /Gold.......RAF Grey/Cream

  • Just finished ready Harry Ferguson's life story, The Grey and Golds where "Massey Harris Ferguson" then the Harris bit was dropped and thy became "Massey Ferguson" and Red and Grey !

Harry Ferguson was the first person in Ireland to leave the ground in an aircraft, which he designed and built himself !

  • If you look closely, your'll notice the Fergie wheel weights behind the rear rims, there's 2 on each rear wheel, may be a rare item now, another clue to the fact that it was ordered by the RAF as a loading shovel and it left Coventry ready for that purpose, if you put enought weight in the bucket it can get abit of a pivot going on front axel !!

  • The one I now have at home with the Fergie 735 loader on it , used to be long to the RAF and spent it's life as a coal shovel on an RAF base somewhere stoking boilers to keep Spitfire pilots warm. Underneath the layers of paint it was RAF blue, so it's never been farmed, and never had to endure the acidic properties of "cow pat"

  • Some of these "Little Cutie's" may have been grey and gold, but the vast majority where red and grey, millions of them left Coventry to go all over the planet, I'm not sure what the ratio was, but ask yourself this, what colour is a "Massey Ferguson" product now !, Cheers for the coment. Keep those "Fergies" rollin'

  • yes, they are lovely, and yes I do wan´t to bring them to my house and keep them.... well dry at least.

There is a 1080p video of a grey fergie here some where driving through the woods. But keek em coming lads.

If theese tractors indeed are FE35´s, why are they not kept in grey/gold paint?

I think you should paint a tractor in the colour you want but the grey/gold is IMO so classy.

    Happy Tractoring gents
