my uncles grew up listening to bob marley, and i grew up listening to u. U was given a gift from the lord and u shared it with the world, but i guess god has other plans for u. U will be deeply miss and remembered as a LEGEND in reggae history. Nobody can take that from u. Rest in peace my friend. TONGA LOVES LUCKY!!!

i think the reason why lucky dube didnt make the bass on this song to loud cause if u can hear the bass line, it could drown out the message that he is trying to make you hear, thts why the KICK is boosted up, and it sound perfect......if u want the bassline to come out more, u proly have to get an epicenter for your sound system
LOVE N RESPECT to LUCKY!

there u go, ain't nuthin wrong with da bass. u just have to have a bad ass system to make dis cut knock.

Not the best fan of this cut (bass is too washed out), but I LOVE this song. It's got multiple meanings. Liquor Slave. Talking about an alcoholic. Also a protest against Apartheid. Jah live, Lucky. RIP
