  • is long marston some sort of scrap yard , or a storage point ?

  • Its A storage site and repairs are done there aswell

  • It is a shame theese types of locomotives are going out of style

  • EWS missed an opportunity here with the DVT's when they were coming out of passenger use. With so many Mk 3 sleepers spare, surely some could have been rebuilt as mail van to form sets of 4 or 5 with the DVT, and have a 90 for traction.

  • Is the Great Britain interested too by the Italian Rete Snella (Slim Network)?

  • They did... Certainly been on 87 hauled trains with DVTs
