It's both flattering and a bit overwhelming to be likened to the love of your life. I hope Sean lives up to the honour you've bestowed upon him. I didn't tell anyone about being raped for years, and when i finally did, i said it in a hushed voice to someone i was very close to, but what amazed me was the fact that it had happened to her as well, and the more i look around, the more i see how vast this involuntary sisterhood is, and i see that dignity cannot be stripped as easily as clothing.

My dad's a very demure man, and my mom is somewhat overbearing, so we listened to her music (motown and 60s pop), so i'm not sure what he thinks of Van Morrisson, and i never really got the chance to give him an honest shot. You've inspired me! What album would you recommend?
