nice how at 2:18 they break into a western( somewhat "classical") melody--then at 2:31 use the four beat chord patterns with intro pick-ups by that funky bass to further the western feel of the music, taking it (assuming they're in 4/4) to an ambiguous 2 bar one note syncopation in the vocals which coolly slides back into the eastern sound at 2:49
