My connemara lad is absoloutley stunning, and I'd love to do showing in hand but unfortunately he has bowed back legs, and one of his ears got its tip bitten of :(

He was put into a riding school when he was 3, and this riding school takes awful care of their horses ! so we rescued him when he was 10 =]

He doesnt go on the bit because of this, and hasnt got great movements, and has a bad back because of the hard work, he got ruined really :( he's quite weak at showjumping, butis amazing xc!:)

@xMeerkatsxHorses ah thats a shame about his back legs :/ i would like to do more showing with mine, but he's quite lean so i never really get anywhere :( :L

ah thats awful about the riding school! i hate it when they don't treat the horses right :@ at least you have him now and are taking care of him :D and its not all about going on the bit and movement, as long as you have a bond and are happy together thats all that matters :)

I bought my Heidi at 3 and owned and showed her untilshe was 13,she is now retired on my Friends farm and is 27,she is still beautiful,she was clever and sointelligent and loving,she could do anything,she won trophies and got lots of attention and admiration where ever she went,a joy to ride I will always be grateful for the pleasure she gave ,will always love her Connemaras are indeed the best and most beautiful of horses mmm feel tearful now
