it has about 50% - 75% chanch of gettign you in orbit.

he has to use his club the giant has to use his club to put you in orbit trust me it has happened to me to many times

As far as giants hitting you into the air it has happened to me 2x, once to my follower the "unbroken" nord and finally it happened when the farmer walked to close to them while he tried offer his painted cow as a peace offering. They knock you so high that your still in the air as the loading screen comes up.
The Skyrim sea monster would e an interesting myth to bust.

@kidsmack1012 What button do you use to pick up items. Just hold that button for a few seconds when the cursor is hovering over an item.
