I use Sony Vegas 6.0 to do all my editing. And this is not a feature... I had to manually scale all pictures to thirds, and then move them around to a grid.

That was so AWESOME!! It's like some lab experiment and there are nine cratures kept in these little squares and I'm observing their activity. That's just the abstract impression I got from this video.
