Who are the idiots that came up with do not use a bar to close snap binders. If DOT see you with any chain movement it's a CVSA 2010 violation and 30 points. The only way to get chains to correct tension is not with this gadget. Unless you want a ticket for loose chains. And who in thier right mind would chain aluminum hollow sqare bar and not use straps? And to think that plastic edge protector will keep a chain from cutting into the load. Wake up and make something for the real world.

I don't even now how to attach the chains onto the binder hooks! I just failed my modile 4 CPC in the UK and the chains and binder demonstration was the first thing I was asked to do. I tried to fit the hook insie the link, but it was too big to fit in. I guess that's not how you do it!

yep. just increase the diameter of the pin that keeps the bar from coming back out. i personally have seen binders pop open and would encourage this change to your product. this is coming from a hot shot truck driver.
