@Kris81887 Dalam suatu peperangan pastilah ada korban jiwa termasuklah prajurit maupun para militer (sipil bersenjata). Saat konfrontasi Indonesia telah memasuki wilayah malaysia dan melakukan sabotase sehingga pertempuran terjadi antara tentara Indonesia melawan tentara inggris, australia, new zealand digaris depan, dan disokong (dari garis belakang) pula oleh askar PDRM-TDRM. Jelas disini Indonesia melawan kulit putih. Dan perang tsb berhinti krn ada masalah dlm negeri Indonesia.

Orang Jerman dan Jepun ( Jepang ) tidak mahu mengenang Perang Dunia kedua sebab mereka kalah. Dan mereka malu. Kerana gagal menakluki dunia. Orang Amerika tak mahu mengenang kembali perang Vietnam sebab mereka kalah. Ini sebilangan kecil orang indonesia masih mahu mengenang kembali perang konfrantasi di mana mereka kalah perang dengan Malaysia. Untuk apa ? Sudah kalah perang, sudahlah. Makin lama mereka ini terkenang perang itu, mereka melukai diri mereka sendiri. Kekalahan ialah episod pahit.

Askar Melayu Diraja ditubuhkan pada tahun 1933, lama sebelum Indonesia merdeka. Dan Askar Melayu telah berjuang menentang Jepun selama 3 tahun di hutan Malaya pada tahun 1941 - 1945. Masa tu mana ada tentera indonesia ? Mana ? Masa zaman darurat pada tahun 1946-1970 pun Askar Melayu berperang menentang komunis. Dan juga zaman konfrantasi. Setengah pihak Indonesia banyak menghairan saya. Konfrantasi yang mereka kalah pun mereka nak kenang. Untuk apa mengenang perang yang mereka kalah ? Untuk apa?

@miszema2 that's true Bro. Have the Indonesians not remembered that the Royal Malay Regiment was formed in 1933, long before there was even an Indonesia. Indonesia gained it's independence in 1945. So in 1933 there was already a Malay regiment in Malaya. This Malay regiment fought against the Japanese during the second world war, and during the 4 years they continued fighting with the Force 136 in the jungles. What the hell the Indonesian think they are talking about ?

The Royal Malay Regiment were not only brave but skillful. At one battle near Pontian kechil, they destroyed a group of lost Indon para trooppers. Some Indon were killed and the rest surrendered. The Australian platoon under Major Saunders had combed Labis in the north and found the Indons surrounded. They bombarded the area with heavy artillery and mortars. Indonesian troops then went fleeing. The Malay regiment then pursued them until near Muar and captured the Indons. That's the truth !!

My father was a British Colonel during the confrantation in Malaya. He fought against the Indonesian troops. I can say this video is full of bullshit. The Royal Malay Regiment is one of the best fighting force in the world, they knew the jungle well and they fought as good as any excellent soldier. Indonesian army men who landed in Pontian and Senai were ill equipped and some were even too straving to death. All British men were proud of the Malay regiment, they were the heroes of Malaya.
